What makes your soft washing better than standard pressure washing for our customers and their properties?
The 2 stage soft wash process we use is by far the best technique used in the industry today. It simply relies on the detergents to do the majority of the work. The pressure washer is mainly used to rinse it off.
What are the most common questions or worries customers have before booking a pressure washing service?
It depends on what sort of roof and how bad the growth is. Also the product does require rain to work.
Pressed Metal Roof/ Corrugated - You are generally looking at between 3 - 6 months for the full result. These roofs generally show the full result quickly.
Concrete/ Clay Tile - Between 6 - 12 months depending on growth. Visible colour change will happen initially but heavy growth may take some time to die and wash off.
Decramastic Tile - Possibly one of the hardest roof types to treat as the surface is rough and lichen typically sticks to it much harder. The roof may require a second treatment if the initial result is not satisfactory.
Which towns or regions do you cover?
We cover from North Auckland to South Hamilton.
Without giving exact prices, can you describe how your pressure washing services are priced (e.g., by area, by the hour, by the job)?
They are priced by size, height, accessibility, and how dirty they are.
How long do the roof treatments take to work?
This will vary depending on the type of roof and how thick the growth is. A long run or pressed tin roof will usually take around three months for the full result, while a concrete tile roof can take six months or more. A decramastic roof that is heavy with lichen may take up to a year and also may require a second treatment in some cases. Over this time there will be very subtle colour changes that indicate the successful progress of the treatment.
